Acrylic on Canvas; 16″ x 20″
This stunning acrylic painting captures the bond between a mama and baby manatee while spending the day in the crystal waters feeding on grass beds. Manatees are a common sight for Florida Artist, Jeremy Reed. IF he is not painting the ocean or sea like, he is out exploring it. He often observes manatees as well as a host of other sea life in Lemon Bay, a mile from his studio. It was only a matter of time before he would capture their beauty and gentleness in his art. In addition to this vibrant painting, Jeremy has captured these gentle creatures in his sculptures made from Kleenex. You can see this for yourself in the Facial Tissue page of this website. This original painting, as well as fine art prints of “Manatees” are available for sale in the ‘Shop Fine Art” page of this website.
