About sea life artist Jeremy reed

 is a self-taught, award-winning artist & illustrator originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area. He is known for his vibrant acrylic paintings and his truly unique sculptures created from facial tissue. His paintings have found a place  in galleries and private collections throughout the world and his sea life illustrations have been featured in publication in Australia.

Having a strong passion for life and the beauty it contains, he carefully tries to convey this in every piece he creates. Through his artwork, Jeremy endeavors to explore the wonders of our incredible oceans and their stunning, diverse life. His goal is to take you on a journey to these marvelous underwater wonders, to make you feel a part of the reef, and to make the sea life come alive. 

Jeremy loved art his entire life. As a child, he could always be found  drawing picture after picture. Ironically, though, he was not interested in painting at all. After he married his wife, Tabitha, all that would change. When she saw his drawings, she urged him to try painting despite his  protests. She then bought him his first canvas and paints. A year later, he began working on a painting as a surprise for her. He, though, was the one surprised! He suddenly had awakened with in himself  a love for the medium and hasn't been able to stop since.
